We had a great turnout on Saturday with 23 boats. I had a feeling it was going to take between 10 and 12 lbs to win this tournament and it did. It took 11.59 lbs to take home 1st place and it took over 10 lbs just to crack the top 5! There was great competition out there, and it showed with a close and exciting weigh in. I had a great time putting it on, and I want to thank all you guys for coming out and making this a really fun and competitive tournament. It’s doubtful I can squeeze another in for March so be keeping an eye out for an April tournament. We paid out 6 places today and 3 places big bass. Here are the results:

st place- Rebstock / Remo (that’s what they wanted to sign up as) with 11.59 lbs

nd place- Chris Galloway / Jonathon Graham with 11.22 lbs

rd place- Laramie Hill / Carl Turner with 10.61 lbs

th place- Chris Barrett / Kevin Schilling with 10.35 lbs

th place- Bradley / John Spinosa with 10.09 lbs

th place- Jonathan Byrd / PJ Lonergan with 9.54 lbs

th place- Wade Lott / Roger May with 9.22 lbs

th place- Jp Bond / Joe Bond with 9.03 lbs

th place- Dylan / Mitch with 8.32 lbs

th place- Mike Page / Roy Vicknair with 8.05 lbs

th place- Derek / Darren with 7.95 lbs

Hey guys! It's down to about a week and a half until the February Tournament out of Manchac. It's on Saturday Feb. 22 and we launch out of the public launch right off the Manchac exit (I-55). It's a TEAM tournament but you may fish alone if you don't have a partner (no more than 2 people in a boat). It's only $20 per boat with $10 per boat for big bass pot (optional). Everything is 100% paid back and we pay multiple places depending on # of boats. There are no boundaries for this tournament, other than you cannot leave the boat or take the boat out the water and put in somewhere else. If you boat can get you there from the Manchac public launch then you can fish it. (as long as it's public water). We will be signing people up prior to daylight, and we'll launch at safe light. We weigh in back at the launch at 3:00. We will weigh in each boats top (5) bass and the heaviest weight will be the winner. The minimum length to weigh in is 12". I'll be handing out a "rules" sheet at the launch for sign in if you want one. We are also participating in the NBS so all top finishes will be counted towards the power rankings. If possible, please let me know if you plan on coming. I know not everyone knows yet, but I like to have an idea of what we can expect. For more information email me at [email protected]. Thanks!
